Ophoria Beyond 1 G-spot Vibrator

March 17th, 2011 @ Amber St. Clare

From Ophoria Toys, comes the Ophoria Beyond 1, a beautifully sculpted silicone G-spot vibrator. With a simple one touch control, this vibrator is sleek, pretty, and aimed for G0spot pleasure. The base of the toy features an easy to press button for you to control the vibration, with a comfortable handle for holding onto for thrusting. The curved end of the Beyond 1 is curled upward to reach the G-spot. This feels like a real luxury toy from Ophoria’s adult line. I’m familiar with their silicone dildos, so I was looking forward to giving this vibe a try. First off, the toy takes 2 AA batteries, which are easy to insert. It comes with a velveteen pouch for storage, and a user manual. The vibe is a little over 7 inches in length, and it measures 1.5 inches wide at it’s thickest point (the curved tip). The toy is pretty lightweight in the hand, and I thought it was comfortable to hold onto for the most part. Ophoria has a nice handle for grasping, and I appreciated the ease of the 1 button design, pretty easy to navigate during use. Since the toy is silicone, it works well with water-based lubricant. A little lubes goes a long way on this toy’s smooth shaft. I also found that cleaning the toy was pretty easy, even just using anti-bac soap and water. Beyond 1 offers 9 vibration modes which range from a low, medium, high, to a variety of vibration patterns that pulse and buzz. I had a lot of fun checking out the different vibration settings and seeing which one I liked best. I also enjoyed the steady vibration at it’s highest level. The toy isn’t as quiet as some of the other vibes in my collection, but it’s not loud at all either. For example, it’s not something I would have to worry about a roommate hearing or anything.

I really liked the curved head of the toy, and honestly I used it on my nipples and my clit right away. I liked the rounded head and thought the silicone felt fabulous when lubed up against my skin. I love when sex toys are multi-functional for me, I like being able to get off clitorally and then switch to vaginally with the same toy, and that was something I could do with the Ophoria Beyond 1. I liked using the different vibration patterns on my clit, and then using the steady vibration when used internally. The highest setting wasn’t super intense, but it was nice and definitely helped me to reach orgasm. With this toy, I did more of a rocking motion rather than a thrusting motion. I really liked using this toy from behind on all fours and I found that even with a little lube on my hand I could still hold onto the toy. I think this toy would be great used as a couple! You could have your partner grasp the handle and work the toy in and out of you, and the vibrating head could even be used anally or held against the testicles if used in a female/male or male/male couple. I liked the amount of contour that the curved tip of the shaft provided, and I found that I could rock my hips against the toy for added stimulation while it worked my G-spot into a frenzy.

Find your G-spot! Giveaway

January 13th, 2010 @ Amber St. Clare

Let’s stick it to the man! Then stick it in your vagina. After hearing about the recent “study” about the G-spot (it was actually a survey…not a “study”) and how the G-spot is supposedly a myth (not!). I thought it would be fitting to do a giveaway. The G-spot study recently done in the UK claims that women don’t really have a G-spot, they simply think that they do, so their mind convinces them that they do. Um…yeah right. The first time I found my G-spot, I wasn’t even looking! I had given up looking and wasn’t even trying or expecting to orgasm from G-spot stimulation, but then it happened! Sorry Mr. “Scientists”, but my G-spot is not in my mind, it’s in my vagina. The survey that suggested this to scientists was a survey given to women, and then the hypothesis was tallied about reading the results of said survey. So it’s really not all that surprising, considering most women don’t know where their G-spot is. Female sexuality is so severely shadowed and hushed up today, that it’s hard to believe that it’s actually the 21st century. Women need female sexual education and need to be supported in their search for G-spot pleasure, not shamed or told they are crazy for thinking they have one. So instead of making information about the G-spot available, they dismiss it and make it nothing more than the Lochness Monster of the female anatomy.

So, the amazing people at Lover’s Choice wanted to hook up one of my readers with a toy from their new Ophoria Toys luxury line. We’ll be giving away a Beyond 1 vibrating G-spot toy in the color of your choice(Pink, Purple, or Black).  This new toy is cute, quiet, and easy to use. Made of 100% body-safe premium Japanese silicone, this toy is hypoallergenic and non-porous. It also offers 9 different vibration modes and has a curved head which is perfect for G-spot stimulation. This toy also comes with a 1 year warranty! Hows that for satisfaction guaranteed? This vibe comes with a pretty storage pouch, user manual, and it requires 2 AAA batteries…and don’t sweat it, the batteries come included with the toy! So you can use this bad boy as soon as you rip the package open. With a length of 7.5 inches and 1.5 inches at it’s thickest point, this toy is sure to please any G-spot newbie. This toy retails for $100. Find your G-spot in luxury, ladies.
