I always feel confident when using a LELO toy, and I can count on LELO to create quality sex toys that appeal to me. Gigi is pretty special from top to bottom. Gigi is an internal vibe, but it can also be used externally. The handle of the toy is made of quality plastic, the tip of the end has a silicone plug that can be removed to expose the charging port of the toy. This is where you plug the toy in to charge it. I love rechargeable toys, they’re convenient and are easier for me to use than fumbling around with batteries. A few hours charge of Gigi and you’re set with around 4 hours of use or so, depending on what speed/vibration setting you use the toy at most often. I like my toys on full blast, so my charge usually doesn’t hold a full 4 hours, but it’s pretty darn close. The silicone plug covers the charging hole when the toy isnt being charge, this helps keep the port clean and dry from lube or other fluids. This toy isn’t waterproof, unlike LELO’s Insignia toy line, so you should use caution when using this toy near water. I have used this toy in the tub with caution, being sure not to get the charging port or the button wet, but it’s not something that LELO recommends doing. I know, I’m quite the sex toy rebel! Cleaning the toy is a breeze. Simply use a toy wipe, anti-bacterial soap and water, or even your favorite toy cleaner. Just be sure not to get moisture into the user button or the charging port. Also, since the head/shaft of the toy is made of silicone, it’s best to use a nice water-based lube with this vibe. Now, I’m the not the first to say that LELO toys aren’t the most powerful vibes on the market, but I do think they are the most stimulating to me. Clean up is easier too, than with past Lelo toys, as since the toy is waterproof, I can wash it right under the sink without having to worry about getting water into any seams or buttons on the toy. The buttons on the Isla are seamless, as they are a part of the silicone. The buttons fashion the Insignia sign, which looks like a triple 8. It offers an up and down button and a middle button also. This is where you control the vibration speeds and the vibration modes. Isla offers 6 vibration patterns and vibration speeds that range from a low rumble to a nice stronger grumble. The buttons are easy to press, even during use. The handle of the toy offers a fingerhole, so you can grasp the toy easier during use, even with slippery fingers. The body of the toy is smooth and offers a slightly tapered head with a small curve, to assist with G-spot stimulation. Lelo Insignia Isla is very lightweight in the hand too, and I found the toy pretty comfortable to hold. The toy isn’t completely seamless around the ABS plastic, so when cleaning lube and fluids from your toy be sure to clean the seam properly to fully sanitize the toy. You can use your favorite toy cleaner, toy cleaner wipes, an alcohol solution, or anti-bacterial soap and water. So besides being pretty, how does the toy work? Pretty well. You can tease the tip of the toy against your clit, or dip the tip inside of your vaginal opening. Only because I’m a clean freak when it comes to my toys, and I really like to know that no bacteria or germs are lingering. I also think it would have been awesome if real steel was used in place of the plastic, however I can understand why it wasn’t, considering the motor of the toy resides in the inner plastic body, and steel on the toy would hike the price of the toy up even higher. I decided to review these two items as a set, because I found that they work really well together. Lube that is luscious…

I was thrilled to hear that LELO, one of my fav toy brands, was releasing their own brand of lubricant. I’m a lube fiend. I’m super picky about the kind of lubricant that I use, and I know what I want and do not want in my lube ingredients, texture, and staying-power. So I was really excited when I got my hands on the new lube by LELO, it’s called LELO Personal Moisturizer, which I assume is the luxury way of saying lube The lube comes in a pretty black LELO box with a silver seal on it. Once you open the box, you can reach in and take out the lubricant. The lubricant comes in a beautiful opaque black glass bottle with the LELO logo on the front, and a pump spout top. The cap is sort of interesting. It doesn’t cover the pump part of the lubricant fully, instead it encircles the pump with a sheer black plastic circle that you lift off of the lubricant. Up lifting it off, you can press down on the pump and it releases lubricant in small squirts, so you can use a little or a lot, it’s up to you. I really like the design of the bottle! It’s sexy and luxurious looking, the circular cap is neat, and though it doesn’t cover the entire pump, it does block the top of the pump so that the pump cannot be pressed. So you could probably carry this lubricant in your overnight bag or suitcase without having to worry about it spilling or about things jumbling around in your luggage and accidentally pressing the pump. The cap is definitely a unique feature.

The lubricant is glycerine and paraben free, which I really like. I love finding quality lubes that are sans parabens and glycerin and instead feature ingredients like aloe vera, which this lubricant does contain. It makes for a nice lubricant additive, as it offers a nice texture and its’ soothing and moisturizing also. You also get a lot of lube in this bottle, it offers 150ml, which should last you quite awhile. The bottle is also very discreet. if placed on your nightstand or dresser, it would look more like a bottle of perfume than anything else. I also like the basic black design of the bottle, the it’s minimal and classy. This lubricant will work wonderfully with any LELO toys, but it also plays well with others. This lube can be used with any other sex toy you’d like, as it contains no oil or silicone, it’s a water-based lube that can be used for sex or sex toy play. It’s also ideal for both men and women because of the unisex bottle and the quality of the ingredients and texture of the product.

I really like the texture of this lubricant. It has a very natural quality to it, and feels similar to natural vaginal lubrication. It’s not too thin or watery, but not too thick or gel like. It’s a happy combination of the toy, and it’s very smooth and silky. It feels good on the skin, and didn’t leave me feeling sticky or tacky. It played well with my toys, and worked just as nicely on plastic and glass as it did on silicone. The lubricant is unscented and unflavored. I found that the lube had good staying power and it didn’t dry out too quickly like some lubricants tend to do. I’m really pleased with this product. It’s exactly the quality I would expect from Lelo, and this has become my lubricant or choice lately. Well done LELO, can’t see what other lubricants you may come out with.

Lately I’ve been noticing that with my love of all LELO sex toys, I tend to choose a favorite for a few days and use it to my libido’s content. Ina is special, she rocks, she’s pretty darn spectacular. In a world of rabbit vibrators, Ina is a dual vibrator in a rabbit style, but she really shines above the rest. First off, the Insignia Soraya comes in the classic Lelo black gift box, and comes with a user manual, charger, and how cool is this…a silver Insignia pin/brooch! Yes, you can wear the pin wherever you want and show off your good taste in sex toys. It’s a cute and fun little feature, the Insignia design features a figure 8 with an extra hoop, a swirled ribbon effect that is pretty and looks posh. The most exciting part for me is that the toy is waterproof! I love LELO toys, and love the fact that they are rechargeable, but they’ve yet to come up with a waterproof toy. So I was thrilled when this was released! Soraya is toy made of an ABS plastic that is wrapped in a supple silicone body. You can see the ABS plastic on the sides of the toy, which is silver in color, and with the toys and bottoms of the toy being silicone, wrapped all around the ABS frame. The silicone feels smooth and luscious. The toy has a handle that features the seamless buttons of the toy, the user buttons are in the same shape as the Insignia design and feature a +/- button. The buttons are absolutely seamless and are a part of the silicone, so no worries about moisture seeping into the buttons. The handle of the toy also features a fingercut out hole, which is prefect for grabbing the toy and thrusting, so you can get a better handle on the toy, even with lube on your fingers. At the toy of the toy, there is a flexible arm that is meant for clitoral stimulation, much like on the design of the LELO Ina. The clitoral arm has it’s own special motor inside, so the vibrations you’re getting from the clitoral stimulator is direct, rather than the vibration just carrying through the silicone arm. I love this! Also, the second motor is in the other end of the toy, the head of the toy that is meant for vaginal stimulation. The end of the head is slightly curved upward with a little more width to it than the shaft of the toy, this is great for G-spot stimulation.

Charging port

So how do you charge this toy if it’s waterproof? Through the little charging port, pictured above. You can’t see a “hole” to plug the charger in to. Instead, you press the end of the charger right into the little indention that you can see above. The charger presses through the silicone and charges the toy in it’s base. When the toy is not charging, the silicone stays sealed and doesn’t let water get inside. Not too difficult, but definitely a lot different than the way you charge other Lelo toys. You can charge the toy by plugging it into any electrical outlet. The toy also comes with the usual Lelo satin storage pouch. I like to charge my LELO Soraya while it’s safely laying in the storage pouch with the end of the pouch open. It’s also a good way to charge the toy if you have roommates and you don’t want people walking into your room and seeing a sex toy charging The Soraya comes in three colors: black, deep rose, and cerise. I have the deep rose color and it’s really pretty. As for vibration, Soraya offers vibration speeds that range from low to high. I love the rumbly deep vibrations of Lelo toys, even though their highest setting isn’t super high, the way the vibrations resonate deeply makes this toy very orgasmic. The toy is pretty quiet too, like most other Lelo toys, so you could masturbate with the toy and definitely not be heard in the other room. Well, you won’t hear the toy, anyway… The Soraya also offers 8 vibration settings that range from quick vibrating pulses, to longer drawnout pluses of vibration. You can easily browse through the speed settings and the vibration modes with the touch of a finger at the top of the toy at the base. The buttons are pretty easy to press, and navigate. You can also lock the toy and unlock the toy the same way you do any other LELO vibes, by pressing the holding the +/- buttons at the same time for about 3 seconds. This toy works great with water-based lubricant too, the lube works nicely on the duo of ABS plastic and silicone on the body. Even though you can use silicone lube on ABS plastic, you cannot use it on silicone, so since this toy is made of both materials, you can only use water-based lubricants with Soraya.

So now that we got the technical aspects out of the way, how does Soraya perform? Awesome! I adore this toy. I almost climaxed just at the thought that I finally owned a waterproof LELO, but aside from that, the vibrations were great. I love LELO’s motors because the vibrations aren’t buzzy or pitchy, they actually create stimulation that seems to stimulate me thoroughly and deeply. I loved using the Soraya on the highest setting, and found that the cut-out fingerhole made it much easier to thrust with the toy! With other toys, sometimes my hand gets wet from lubricant, and I can’t get a good enough grasp for serious thrusting, but that wasn’t really a problem that I had when using the Lelo Soraya. I found that I could grasp the toy properly, even if my fingers were a little moist. I also the way the toy of the toy felt vaginally, the slightly angled tip felt nice when used to stimulate and thrust against the G-spot. The clitoral arm is great too, because of it’s own motor, and the fact that the silicone arm is flexible, which means since every woman’s anatomy is different, it can stimulate your clit pretty much no matter what. I found that once the toy was inside, it fit nicely inside of me and the clitoral nub felt insanely awesome against my clit while the shaft of the toy buzzed away inside of my pussy. Yummy! It made for an intense orgasm from deep stimulation while working both my vagina clitoris at the same time. A lot of other dual stimulators, such as rabbits, can be a let down because of the positioning of each woman’s clit and the same cookie cutter positioning of the rabbit ears, but Soraya is different, like her less water friendly half-sister Ina, Soraya’s clitoral arm is large enough to cover the clit, and because of it’s flexibility, it can nuzzle and press against the clit quite nicely for direct stimulation.

It’s no secret that I love LELO toys, so I decided to dedicate this post to the LELO toy I’ve used most of all out of any other LELO toy this week: Iris. Would a toy by any other name smell as sweet? Like an Iris, this toy is feminine, pretty, powerful, and rechargeable. Why is LELO Iris my favorite LELO toy of the week? Let me explain…

Iris is a mid-sized vibe from the Lelo line of toys, and besides coming packaged in the pretty black Lelo gift box, this toy is different than other Lelo vibes of it’s kind, because it’s textured! I love smooth toys, but once and awhile I like a little textual stimulation. Like a flower, the shaft of Iris features a raised textured detail that looks like flower petals. The silicone is smooth and sleek, and while the details are pretty to look at, they feel even beter. The texture isn’t too hard or abrasive on my vaginal walls, instead the texture offers add stimulation and feels fantastic both internally and externally. The texture on Iris is truly where it stands out as a unique Lelo toy. This toy is made of smooth silicone that feels delicious against the skin, even when you are running your fingers over Elise, the promise of sensual pleasure hangs in the air. Out of all of the Lelo vibes, Elise is one of the biggest, her long body is curved slightly at the head of the shaft, and is fantastic for both internal and external stimulation. Clean Elise is also pretty easy, you can wash her down carefully with soap and water, or use your favorite toy cleanser. I have even used a toy wipe on Elise and it worked wonderfully. Since Elise is splashproof, but not waterproof, you can sanitize the toy with a little diluted alcohol and water, but be sure not to get moisture into the buttons on the toy or the charging port. Being made of 100% body-safe silicone, Elise plays well with all water-based lubes, be sure not to douse her in silicone lubes though, she doesn’t mix well with those. Now take a nice long look at Elise’s body, don’t worry, she’s not shy, so take a peek. The rounded handle is easy to hold and grip during use, at the tip of the handle you will find the charging port. This is the input where you will plug the charger into as you charge the toy in any electric outlet. There is a small silicone plug that hides the charging port and protects it from some moisture, so you can lift the tab and charge the toy. All you need is a wall outlet. On the top of the handle you will find the user control panel, which is easy to use. It’s a circular panel that features an up, down, left, and right button all which can be pressed easily with the press of the thumb. By using the user interface button you can switch through the various vibration speeds and vibration modes. You can also lock the toy and unlock the toy this way, so that during storage or travel the toy doesn’t accidentally turn on. To lock simply press and hold the +/- buttons at the same time for 5 seconds or so, to unlock do the same.

While browsing through the vibration settings you find a bunch of great settings, like a pulse vibration pattern, and a rolling vibration pattern, keep press the up button to browse through the different patterns. To change the vibration speed press the + or – buttons. The lowest vibration speed is a light hum, and the strongest is a nice vibration of moderate-high. Some people mention that LELO toys aren’t strong enough in vibration speed,but honestly, I love the vibrations, they resonate deeply and aren’t light and pitchy like some other vibes. I orgasm each and every time I use a LELO toy, including Elise. The shaft of Elise is sleek and measures 1.5 at it’s widest part. The toy is awesome for simulation on the breasts, clit, vagina, and can even be pressed against the anus or even used on the neck or back for a massage! You can pressed the slightly curved end of Elise against your clit, or hold the tip of the shaft against your clit. I like to do this to warm myself up. The vibration travels nicely through the entire shaft of the toy, it’s pleasing to the eye, the toy is pretty quiet while in use even on the highest setting, and the silicone feels awesome. I highly recommend the LELO Elise to both sex toy newbies and pros, this toy is fantastic and it’s been a great addition to my sex toy collection!
