Fun Factory Share XL

April 7th, 2010 @ Amber St. Clare

Theres nothing quiet as fun as a huge strapless strapon in a hot fuchsia color. This toy is cute, it’s sexy, and it’s huge. The XL in it’s name, Extra Large, is no overstatement. This toy is a must for those who enjoying pegging with thick toys that have a lot of girth. I’ve tried the other strapless strapons from Fun Factory before, but none quite compare to the gigantic Fun Factory Share XL. One end of the toy is a large bulb that is curved and meant to anchor inside the wearer’s vagina. This helps to hold the strapon in place, while simultaneously stimulating the woman wearing it. The bulb end is meant to press against the G-spot, so that during strapon sex, during thrusting, the bulb anchor will thrust against the G-spot. The other side of the toy is the tip of the shaft, which is quite phallic is design, with a prominent head, but unlike a real penis, the shaft of the toy is detailed with a rippled swirly surface meant for textured stimulation during pegging. You’ll notice a small detailed swirl similar on the bulb end of the toy also, which is for added stimulation for the wearer, and both the shaft and the bulb are big at a whopping 5 1/4″ and 5 1/2″ girth. Probably not a toy for any beginners, but an awesome size for the experienced strapon on fan ;)

Like all Fun Factory sex toys, the Share XL strapon is made of quality silicone. This means this toy is nce for both vagina and anal penetration. Since the toy is silicone, it warms well to temperature, and cools well also. So you can cool it down in the fridge or warm it up in a nice warm bath. Also, since the toy is waterproof, and 100% silicone, that means it can be sterilized completely by boiling the toy in water until completely cleaned. You’ll want to use plenty of water-based lubricant with this toy. No silicone lube though, since that could ruin the silicone body of the toy. I highly suggest getting really warmed up before using this strapon, and using a lot of lubricant to ensure proper and comfortable insertion and toy use. The bulbed end of the toy can also be used by hand. You can grasp the bulb in your hand as a base, and thrust the toy in and out of you or your partner’s pussy or anus. For hands free fun, and the reason this toy is a strapless strapon on though, is for inserting the toy and having a go fucking your partner. Once you’re nice and wet, and the bulb of the toy is lubed up, you can begin the insertion of the bulb. It make take a few tries if you’re not used to girthy toys (I’m right there with ya, sister!), but eventually the bulb should slide into your pussy and anchor nicely. If the toy doesn’t feel secure, you can try adjusting it. Even though this toy is meant for strapless use, you can also use this toy with any dildo harness that has a large enough O ring. So the choice is yours! Once your partner is lubed up nicely, you can begin to insert the shaft into your partner’s ass or pussy. You should be able to thrust freely with the shaft of the toy standing out and ready for fucking. This is a great time to exercise your kegel muscles and hold the toy firmly with your pelvic muscles.

This toy may be a bit too big for some, but I think if you take the time, or you’re someone who enjoys large toys, this is a great strapon toy for any couples out there who enjoy pegging. The toy is pretty, easy to clean, high quality, and it’s versatile. You can get your hands on the Share XL for $104 at Kama Sutra Closet. Fun Factory Share XS

February 1st, 2010 @ Amber St. Clare

Having already tried the original Fun Factory Share, I was interested in trying the new Fun Factory XS. Like the original Share, this strapon dildo is made of soft supple silicone. While the silicone has a little give to it, it’s quite firm, which is a good thing if you’re going to be thrusting. Now, before I get ahead of myself, it should be said that the main benefit of the Share XS is that it’s a “strapless” strapon dildo. Instead of using a dildo harness to attach the dildo to yourself, instead you slide the bulb end of the toy inside of your vagina, where it’s meant to press against the G-spot and “anchor” itself into your vagina while your pc muscles hold it in place. Nice theory, right? Unfortunately most strapless strapons can be a bit hard to place properly, as I had noticed with the original Share, but I was eager to try out the XS nonetheless. Unlike the Share, the Share XS has one end that is thin and made for penetration, but it not shaped like a penis, nor does it have a prominent head. The shaft of the toy is much thinner and a little shorter than the shaft of the original Share also. Which could definitely be a good thing, especially for newbies. The other end has a large bulb, to me the bulb on the XS is much bigger than the bulb on the original Share. This could be because a lot of feedback on the original Share made it clear that the Share seemed to have problems staying in place inside of the vagina while the wearer used it for thrusting into a partner. So I think Fun Factory wanted to make this end a little larger so that perhaps it wouldn’t “slip”. I found this bulb end to be pretty big, lots of girth, and curved to hit the G-spot. If you’re going to insert this end, be sure to use a lot of lubricant. Water-based lube, as this toy is made of silicone and shouldn’t ever be used with silicone lubes. Silicone on silicone just isn’t compatible. It took me a few tried to finally insert the bulb end into my vagina, once in there, I found that it made my pussy feel very full inside. I did like the feeling. Another problems users had while using the original Share was that once the toy was inside, the shaft seemed to droop down instead of remaining up and erect. I think this is another reason why Fun Factory chose to make the XS’s shaft very smell, so it would be less weight to weigh the strapon down. However, the only thing “extra small” about the XS is the shaft. The bean-shaped bulb made for holding into place is pretty “extra large”. So it may take a little practice to get it comfortably inside. Once the bulbed end is anchored into of the vagina, I did notice that the shaft didn’t droop as much as the original Share! The shaft of the XS seemed to stand up a lot better.

The end made for thrusting is quite small, as I stated above, so this would be ideal for beginners, and those interested in pegging for the first time. While the Share XS. I found that the XS did work better during thrusting than the original Share, but I didn’t think that the bean-shaped bulb seemed to hit my G-spot just right, so it took some maneuvering. The small end is good for penetration. I tried holding the small shaft end of the XS and used it to thrust the bulb end against my G-spot, this was much more stimulating than the stimulation that came from thrusting with it. I also tried holding onto the bulb end in my hand and using the small shaft to stimulate my ass. I thought the shaft felt awesome in my ass! I liked the feel of the silicone and though the shaft was small it still felt lovely and having the large bulb to grasp onto made it easy for hard thrusting. I should also mention that while the Share XS is strapless, you can use it with a strapon harness if you want. It actually will make sure that the dildo stays in place and you don’t have to worry about it slipping. Thought it can defeat the purpose of a “strapless” strapon on, if you don’t mind, it can be beneficial.  I liked the pretty pink color of the dildo, and also, since it’s silicone, you can boil it to fully sterilize the toy, which is a plus, because I like being able to sterilize my dildos. I found that even though the bull end is large, and can be off-putting, this would be awesome for ladies who love it large, and I do like this dildo better than the original Share. I think Fun Factory is moving in the right direction when it comes to building a quality strap-less strapon. Interested in trying your own Fun Factory Share XS? Fun Factory Share

October 19th, 2009 @ Amber St. Clare

Having tried other harness-free strapons, I was really interested in seeing how the Fun Factory Share would measure up. I’m a big fan of Fun Factory toys, they’re high quality and are known for good performance. The Share is made of 100% soft supple medical-grade silicone. This dildo is double-ended and meant to be shared with a partner – hence the name, Share. The design is sleek and unique. The silicone is scent-free and is smooth to the touch. I also really like the pastel pink color, its pretty and very feminine. Besides being waterproof, this toy is non porous and can be sterilized in boiling water, which makes it ideal for easy cleaning. Silicone is a great material and very sanitary and body safe. You can also clean this toy using your favorite toy cleaner. Taking a look at the Share, you’ll see that one end of the toy is very phallic, and features a contoured head, while the other end of the toy is shaped into somewhat of a bean shape. This end is meant to be worn inside of the vagina. You slide this end into the vagina, where it can press against the G-spot, and anchor inside of your vagina, allowing for hands-free use. You can then use the other end of the dildo to have sex with your partner. Ideal, right? Cool, unique, and simple to use. So just how does this toy perform?

After some intense foreplay, I decided to try and insert the anchored end of the Share. I found the bean-shaped internal piece to be a little on the bulky side, and I had a little bit of trouble inserting it. Once I had it inserted, I could feel the thick silicone bulb pressing against my G-spot. However, the shaft of the toy hung a little lower than I was expecting, so I did find myself holding it up with one hand. The cool thing about this toy is you can have some fun having your own “penis” – letting your partner lick the shaft of the toy. I found this to be really sexy! My guy wasn’t too thrilled with the pink color, but I liked it ;) This toy is good for pegging. Beginners and pros will probably like this toy. The shaft is thick enough, and the supple silicone retains body heat very nicely. I also like the shape of the shaft and the tapered head. This toy can be used anally and vaginally, just be sure to sterilize it properly between use! I found that the tapered head could easily slide into my partner’s bottom. Using a lot of lubricant is key to make use with the Share a success. I found this toy to be successful in pegging my partner, and though I found that I still used my hands once and awhile to make the shaft of the toy stand up higher, for the most part, you really can use this toy hands-free! I didn’t get much stimulation during use myself, as I found the internal bulb to be a little on the uncomfortable side, I still found the whole experience to be quite a turn on. Plus, using your vaginal muscles to hold the bulb end inside of your vagina is a great way to work your kegel muscles! You can use the Share in a variety of positions, and if even though this toy is strap-less, you can still use a harness if you’d like. The Share will fit into most standard dildo harnesses, so you can in fact still strap this bad boy on! The choice is up to you and what is most comfortable for both you and your partner.

The great part about this toy is that you can even fuck yourself with it. Simply grab the easy grip bulb end, and thrust the shaft end of the toy in and out of your vagina or ass. You can also wear the bulb end of the toy in your ass, rather than your vagina if you find that more comfortable, but this will slightly shortened the length of the Share, giving your partner a little less depth as you thrust into them. I actually enjoyed wearing this toy anally, I found that even though it was quite large, my ass seemed to grasp it firmly and it was kind of hot for both me and my partner to have our asses stimulated in unison. Overall, I found that the Share rocks! I like the design, I like the ease of cleaning the toy, and I found it to be one of the more quality strapless dildos that I’ve found. Sharing is caring…get some today ;)
