Earth Meets Water Handmade Candles

April 5th, 2017 @ Amber

I was completely smitten with these candles as soon as I saw them. I love the boho vibe of the Flower Child collection from handmade candle brand Earth Meets Water. The collection consists of a variety of candles in a pretty amber glass tumbler, with a round logo label on the front featuring a bohemian style logo and boho inspired scents like Daydreamer and Wild & Free. Very loving this aesthetic! The candles are handpoured using natural soy wax and include scent notes like amber, jasmine, cardamom, lavender, nag champa and more. The candles all have a natural wick, and the tops of each candle from this collection features a tiny little seashell and a flower. Really giving the beachy and soft of boho-vintage style vibe to the designs. These are so fun, and I love not only how great they smell, but that the packaging is so damn cute. I tried the Beautiful Being scent and the Wild & Free scent. Beautiful Being has floral notes and slightly spicy notes of cardamom and amber. It’s very relaxing and really fits the boho theme. I hadn’t tried the nag champa scent before that is so popular as an incense, and the Wild & Free candle has notes of it along with flowers and it smells really natural and earthy. I really like both of these scents so much, and the candles themselves are so beautiful. I hope to try more from this collection, and I would love to see this collection expanded with more scents because I think Earth Meets Water is doing some really awesome things in the handpoured candle market. Their original line of candles are available in mason jars or fish bowl containers and are available in scents like Beach House, Enchanted Dreams and Lazy Sundays. Each of the original candles comes with a little charm and friendship twined bracelet. They also offer wax melts in sea shapes or clamshell containers, handmade jewelry and more. Everything has a really natural and flower child feeling. So fun!
