I think this is the first of the Laura Berman sex toys I’ve actually reviewed on Scarlet’s Letter, so allow me to introduce the Berman Center Aphrodite. The Aphrodite, named after the greek goddess of love, is a wand type of massager that is both functional, versatile, and rechargeable. Made of quality body-safe plastic, the body of the toy is easy to grip, one end of the toy features a charging input for you to plug the charging unit into, while the other end offers a massager head, where you use the various silicone attachments to customize the massager to whatever you like best. The wand head is double-ended, where as one end features a round circular black head, and the other end lets you choose between one of the 3 attachments that comes with the toy. One attachment is fairly rounded and smooth, while another attachment features a pin pointed nub, and the last attachment features a series of little raised detailed bumps. The attachments are easy to secure to the toy head, and are also easy to remove. You can also boil them to fully sanitize the attachments, since they are made of silicone. However, this is not a waterproof toy, so be sure to keep water out of it’s orifices and seams. This toy works fabulously with water-based lubricant also. Clean up is pretty easy too, especially with a toy wipe or toy cleansing spray. Charging the toy is easy, and you can charge the toy at any wall outlet. This allows you to use the toy without any wires or cords getting in the way. The Aphrodite massager is pretty lightweight in the hand, and even during use it was easy to hold and maneuver. This would be fun to use with a partner! Let your partner massage your entire body, including your genitals with the attachment of choice while you lay back and relax. This works great on men too, you can tease it over is body, and softly against his balls as you give him manual or oral sex. This massager is meant for external stimulation only, and it’s meant for stimulation of the clitoris and the vulva, but you can use it anywhere on the body that you’d like. Aphrodite is an infrared massager, which means that the rounded black head of the massager will heat up during use and create warmth with the infrared technology to offer you a warming sensation to the genitals during masturbation. I like the added warmth and thought it was a fun addition to a wand type of styled toy. If heat isn’t your thing, you don’t have to use the toy heated. Just use the other side of the head of the toy, choose an attachment of choice, and enjoy! I liked all of the attachments, they were fun to test out. The rounded attachment felt great massaging my entire vulva with it, it did a great job of stimulating my labia and my clit at the same time. The pin pointed attachment offered nice pin point stimulation directly to my clit, and the nubby head offered a unique feeling that tickled and teased my nether regions. The vibration is nice and resonates pretty deeply and you can choose from different speeds to match what ever you like best. The toy is also completely waterproof in the way that it can actually be submerged in up to 10 feet of water. Jimmyjane’s Little Something line believes in constant vibration just at different intensity, thats why there is only one vibration speed on the Little Steel, from end to end the toy vibrates the same, with the one end being a little bit more intense because this is where the motor is. The toy is double ended so you can use either end, or rest the side of the vibe against your clit or vulva. The body of the toy is smooth, the rounded tip on each end is good for clitoral stimulation, and though I personally don’t use the toy for internal play, the end cap where you unscrew the toy allows a small hole incase you want to insert a string so you can use the toy internally without it getting caught inside of you and you having to try and grasp a vibrating toy with slippery fingers. You can tease the toy just inside of your vaginal opening, or tickle it against your anus, however I personally wouldn’t use this toy for anal play since it’s not flared on either end. One end of the toy is seamless, as is the shaft of the toy, but when you get to the base of the toy, you’ll find the end cap, which looks like the other end, except this side twists off to reveal the battery compartment. So this is where you insert/remove the battery. The endcap is also how you turn the toy on. Simply twist the endcap. To turn the toy off, untwist the cap until the vibration stops(this will loosen the cap).

Having reviewed other toys from the Jimmyjane Little Something line, including my previous Jimmyjane Little Gold review, I knew that the vibration from the Little Steel vibrator would not be intense. The vibration travels nicely through the steel body, however the vibration is pretty light compared to other toys that I’m used to. I know some women don’t like intense vibration, and in that case, this vibe would be perfect for you. Let’s face it though, if you know anything at all about sex toys, you know that you don’t buy the Jimmyjane Little Something toys for their power/speed. You buy them because they’re luxurious, pretty, unique, and frankly when it comes to sex toy design, pretty artistic. I first heard of Gun Oil lubricant when I noticed the Fleshlights were coming with small samples of this lube in their FL cases. Gun Oil, it’s a pretty tough name, huh? Reminds me of some super frisky secret agent getting down to business! Gun Oil created a great water-based lubricant called Gun Oil H2O. The lubricant, like it’s silicone brother, is a great quality lube but it’s completely silicone free. It offers a really smooth and silky texture, and though I think it’s targeted (ha! targeted, when talking about gun oil…had to throw that in there!) toward men. The bottle is blue, and has a camo designed type of font that says Gun Oil in all caps. It also mentions that the lube is condom safe, making it big enough for men’s eyes to actually see and say “Oh I can use this for jerking off OR sex!” The texture of the lube is smooth and it is unscented and unflavored. I haven’t tried the original Gun Oil which is silicone based, but I think the H2O water based kind feels really nice. It has a silicone feel to it, without the staining effect, and because it’s water-based this lubricant is toy friendly too! If I were going to buy lubricant for a male partner I would probably buy him this. I thought the formula was pretty long lasting, and I liked the texture. It’s no secret that I like aluminum toys, they’re a favorite of mine because of the sleek smooth surface and the fact that it holds temperature really well. I’m also a fan of the sex toy brand Tantus, so it would make sense that I decided to review their Motion dildo. The Tantus Motion is a really cool looking double ended aluminum dildo. Made of quality aluminum that comes in a pretty deep purple color, one end of the Motion features a smaller end that is shaped with what looks like small arrow head shapes, then in the middle is a small pliable black band that connects the toy to it’s other end, which is bigger, and features larger arrow shapes. The toy measures a little over 8 inches and at it’s thickest point it’s 1.25 inch. You know that black band I mentioned? It’s there because you can unscrew the smaller end of the toy from the larger end! Why would you want to do that? because all of the Tantus Alumina toys are mix-n-match toys, you can unscrew the Motion and screw another Tantus Alumina toy end to the other side if you’d like. Cool huh? I thought that was a fun and unique aspect of the Tantus Alumina line. I really like the shape of the Tantus Alumina Motion. This toy is waterproof so it can be cleaned easily, and it works great with both water-based and silicone based lubricants. You can also cool the toy down in the refrigerator or warm it up in a bowl of warm water. I usually just run the toy under the faucet at a warm setting, and let the water warm up the toy, as I tend to like warmer toys when it comes to dildos. Feels better to have something warm sliding inside of me, and the smoothness of the toy and the fact that the toy holds temperature makes that easy. Even without warming the toy up, it warms up not long after insertion from my natural body temperature. Lube works really well on this toy and a little lube goes a long way on aluminum, and it seems to last longer on the non porous surface. When using thsi toy, I inserted the smaller end vaginally, and found that the toy was very easy to insert because of the pointed spade-like tip. It was easy to grab the other end of the toy and use it for thrusting also.  You can even angle the tip of the toy against your G-spot. I also found that you could hold a vibrator against the shaft of the toy, and I could feel the vibrations travel through the aluminum and stimulate my pussy. After warming up with the smaller end, I decided to give the larger end a try. This end was also pretty easy to inserted because of the tapered tip of the toy, though this is end wider than the smaller end. It’s been awhile since I featured any bedroom furniture, so I wanted to share my opinion of the new Liberator Jaz. Luxury. That is something I’ve come to expect from LELO. I was thrilled to find out that LELO decided to create accessories, lube, candles, and massage oils that are just now being released for purchase. Being a huge fan of their sex toys, it was no surprise that I wanted to try this pretty LELO Snow Pear & Cedarwood Massage Candle. The beautiful candle comes in a sleek black candleholder base, that is heavy and weighty in the handle. It’s luxurious and looks classy, it’s also unisex, and would be great for women, men, and couples. There is a silver LELO logo on the front, and a silver lid that is easy to lift off to expose the candle. It has a green fingerhole for opening or closing the lid, which adds a bit of color and flair. The wax of the candle is a creamy white that is made of soy wax, which burns longer than other wax candles, also the wax is softer, which is ideal for massage candles such as this one. The wick is easy to light, and the candle burns very slowly, so you can get a lot of use out of this candle. Upon first lighting the candle, I don’t get too strong of a smell, but as the candle burns, I get a whiff of a gorgeous crisp scent that smells like fresh ripened pear with a little bit of fresh woodsy cedarwood. The scent is very natural, and quite light at first, not too strong or overpowering. The scent permeates the air and takes it’s time as it teases my senses with it’s yummy fragrance. I was expecting a little bit of a stronger scent, but actually I like that the candle burns brightly, and doesn’t end up giving me a headache from an overpowering fragrance like a lot of other candles do. The Snow Pear and Cedarwood fragrance is sexy and relaxing, definitely a great candle for a dinner for two and a great one that would lead to dessert…because after you blow the flame out, and let the wax cool for about 30 seconds, you’re left with a warm massaging candle wax. You can drizzle the melted wax on your lover’s body and give them a full body massage. Very sexy and perfect for warming up before the main course. I like the feel of the massaging wax, the oil feels very much like a quality massage oil, which is basically what the candle turns into once it has melted. Once and while, I try a lubricant and it’s love and first rub. This is one of those moments. Meet one of my favorite new lubricants, System JO Women’s Agape. I’m a huge fan of the System JO brand, and I love their lubricants. The only real problem is that their lubes have glycerine, which isn’t exactly bad, but it’s not the best for the vagina. Honestly, with all System Jo lubes, a little goes a long way, so one pump was perfect for me to masturbate. I love all things LUSH, and they always come out with the coolest items at Christmas time. For those of you who aren’t familiar with LUSH, they create really nice smelling and most organic and eco-friendly bath and body items. I recently got the LUSH Bathtime Favorites gift set, that comes in a cute little Holiday tin with a snow scene on the top, and little baubles and trees and ornaments on the sides. Another new product from LUSH that I was really wanting to try was Lovely Jubilees, a natural breast cream that helps to make the breast skin supple, soft, and to help provide a little natural firming effect. It’s made of natural ingredients like rose, tiger lily, organic oils, avocado, and other goodies. You massage the cream on your breasts daily or as often as you’d like. It smells really nice, and I’ve only just started using it, so I’m not sure how well it works, but I really like how it feels on the skin. Lets face it ladies, no matter what breast size shape or age you are, sexy looking boobies is a plus! I like that this is a product specifically for breasts too, I think boobies need more attention and pampering, personally. I’m going to continue to use this product and if I continue to like how it works, I just might buy stock in this brand! This would be a great sexy holiday stocking stuffer for you, ladies.
