OhMiBod G-Spot

July 15th, 2010 @ Amber St. Clare

I’ve always thought that the OhMiBod brand was so much fun. Suki, the owner is an awesome lady, and she really does strive to make quality toys for her customers. So I was excited to try the OhMiBod G-spot vibrator, since it’s one of the only OhMiBod toys I’ve yet to try. I love the bright bubblegum pink color of the vibe, and the slim shaft, and curved tip. Sexy! It also comes with it’s one velour OhMiBod storage pouch. Like all OhMiBod toys, it’s designed to be used with music, or any other sound output of your choice, but it can also be used as a standalone vibrator. Choices! See, I like that. The toy requires two AA batteries, and it comes with input wires for you to connect the toy to your cellphone, mp3 player, iPhone, or whatever other input you’d like. It also comes with a rounded end cap that can be used when you want to use the toy without music. The toy is easy to use, and the vibration settings are easy to navigate with a twist of the endcap. The endcap is made of plastic with silver colored coating, and the body of the toy is made of what appears to be body-safe ABS plastic. The toy is easy to clean, as you can wipe it down with a  toy wipe or use your favorite toy cleanser. The toy is *not* waterproof, so you want to keep moisture away for the endcap. You can use this toy with silicone lubricant or water-based lube also.

I decided to try the toy without music first. I screwed on the rounded end cap and went to town. The vibrations are nice, not too weak, but definitely not real strong. The toy isn’t super loud or buzzy, but it’s not super quiet either, but you can’t hear it through a closed door. I used the curved tip on my clit, and then teased it over my nipples. Insertion was pretty easy, and the 7 inch shaft of the toy makes it pretty easy to use the toy internally to find the right spot when you can stimulate your G-spot. I didn’t find the internal vibrations to be super amazing, but they were moderate. I found that I liked the toy more using it to thrust along with the vibration. After warming up a bit, I attached the 5 foot freedom cord and attached my iPod. I chose a fast paced song and let the toy vibrate along with the rhythm of the music. That part was fun for sure! How cool is it to be able to fuck your favorite song? Which i did, over and over. You can even plug the end into a microphone and let your lover talk into it, so the toy buzzes along with their voice. Lots of fun ways to use this toy! I liked the music aspect of it, even if the vibration stimulation wasn’t super strong. It’s definitely a unique experience to be able to stimulate yourself to a playlist of songs, or even plugging the toy into a musical output like a guitar or keyboard. I definitely like this toy for the fun appeal!

You can also use this for some couples play. Lay back in bed and let your partner pick a random song on your mp3 player and then try to guess what song is buzzing away in your naughty bits :) While this toy isn’t my favorite G-spot vibrator, it’s unique and offers a fun interactive experience for anyone who truly enjoys music. Sex toys + music = a no-brainer. It’s a great idea, and it’s a fun little toy that would also make a great gift! Wanna feel the music? Get your own OhMiBod G Spot for $62.99 at FunLove.com
