Introducing: Sqweel by Love Honey

October 12th, 2009 @ Amber St. Clare

Love Honey is one of the most popular sex toy companies in the UK. They offer fabulous brands such as Jimmyjane, Je Joue, and We-Vibe. Love Honey also makes their own line of sex toys – which is cool! I *love* the idea of a sex shop creating unique and fun products directly from their minds to their customers loins. Allow me to introduce you to the Sqweel.  The Sqweel is a fun new adult toy from Love Honey that is meant to feel similar to oral sex. The toy is a black clam shell base, with a silicone circle inside that is adorned with 10 mini silicone tongues. The vibe can be turned on low, medium, or high, with the switch of a button at the base of the shell. As the toy’s tongues swirl in a circular motion, it works almost like a wind-mill of lust – as the mini tongues lap against your neither regions. I should also mention that this toy feels great on your nipples, and neck, and other parts of the body. I found that using a lot of water-based lubricant made this toy feel great. It’s a *very* new and unique feeling compared to most vibrators – as the toy doesn’t vibrate or oscillate, it “moves” in another way, similar as a tongue would, in an up/down flicking motion. I actually really really liked the sensations that this toy gave – it was like no other toy, and it felt different even than a finger clicking my clit. It was quite nice. This toy takes AAA batteries, so it is not rechargeable, but I used this toy for quite awhile and the batteries seem to be holding up just fine. This toy can be cleaned by removing the side panel of the clamshell base, and removing the wheel that houses the silicone tongues. This toy is made of body friendly material, and contains no latex or pthalates.

As this toy doesn’t vibrate, it still makes noise, as all moving toys do. It isn’t the usual vibrational pattern you may be used to hearing, but rather a winding sound as the toy turns. This sound didn’t bother me at all, but it may for some…I honestly didn’t care much about whatever noise it was making, since I was making noise of my own ;) The clamshell base is also large enough to fit in the palm of your hand, so you can hold it in place easily. Also, pay attention to the direction of the tongues movement. Holding the clamshell one way will make the tongues flick downward, and if you turn the clamshell upside down, the tongues will flick upward. So you can see which type of movement you prefer!

Amber’s orgasmic tips for use with the Sqweel:
#1 Though this toy is *not* water-proof – I found that if you remove the circular piece that holds the mini tongues and you soak the piece in a bowl of warm/hot water, and then dry the piece properly and place it back into the toy before using – the mini tongues will feel warm and even softer and even more life-like in it’s sensations.

#2 I found this this toy works in many different positions, but my favorite position to use this toy is the straddle method. I placed the base of the toy flat against the bed, and held it there, as I straddled the toy, much like when straddling a lover’s face during oral sex. To me, this made the “licking” sensation of the toy very erotic! I loved the feeling of the mini tongues in this position. If you want to have hands-free fun and not worry about holding the toy flat on the bed, you can get a shoe and place the base of the clamshell toy in the opening of the shoe, and it will hold the toy upright for you. Though if your roommate happens to walk in and look at you funny for straddling a shoe…don’t blame me ;) *just teasing*

Love Honey, the idea and design behind this toy obviously took a lot of time and effort! My clitoris thanks you :) Special thanks to Love Honey for sending me this toy to review before it was released. I hope everyone who reviews this toy, or any customers who decide to buy the Sqweel see just how awesome it is and notice all of the unique and fun things about this toy that sets it apart from the rest.

You can get your hands on the Sqweel for £34.99 (thats about $55 in US funds) at LoveHoney.co.uk
